Emma Hayes has been appointed to succeed Victoria Garratt as the Society of Homeopath’s Professional Standards Manager.
Emma is currently the Education Quality Assurance Manager at Education for Health, a charity which provides education and training for those working in healthcare. She has extensive experience in both education and regulation and will be joining at a key time for the Society, as she will be seeing through a major review of membership structure and criteria.
Mark Taylor, Chief Executive of the Society welcomed Emma ‘ we have been very fortunate to secure the services of somebody with the mixture of skills possessed by Emma. I expect her to be a key figure within the Society and the homeopathic world as we move forward improving standards while making the profession accessible to all’
Taylor also praised Victoria Garratt. ‘Hers was a new post at a difficult and crucial time and she has done a spectacularly good job. We will miss her and wish her well.
Emma begins work at the Society on Monday 22nd May.
