Supervision “is an appreciative or a compassionate enquiry; a way of observing without attachment. In this sense a supervisory way belongs to any relationship – therapeutic, professional helping, mentoring, teaching, parenting or marriage as well as to self supervising. Supervision is increasingly recognised as necessary in a wide variety of professions. This applies particularly to professionals in positions of responsibility that involve working with people and includes: social work, teaching, nursing, therapy and business management.
The Society has actively promoted supervision within the profession since the mid 1990s, and supervisors are an integral part of the Registration programme for Newly Registered Members.

From here you can download The Society of Homeopaths list of registered practitioners who are willing to be supervisors. All of the supervisors on the list practise in accordance with The Society of Homeopaths Code of Ethics & Practice for Supervisors which you can download here.
The majority of practitioners on the Society’s list has had some supervision education and training and are themselves in supervision. A number of the practitioners have satisfied further criteria and are recommended by the Society as approved to supervise new practitioners within the Registration Programme. These are indicated by the letter ’R’. Practitioners who offer Group Supervision are indicated by the letter ‘G’.
