Orion – Advanced Homeopathic Training
Course title: Orion: Intensive Postgraduate HomeopathyCourse category: Advanced Homeopathic Training
Location: Clevedon (near Bristol)
Award: Certificate of Attendance
Description of course and content: The Orion course is a 5 month part-time intensive programme, designed for a small group of practitioners to expand their skills and understanding of the complex subject of homeopathy. Mike Bridger and Dion Tabrett have many years of experience in practice and teaching, which enables them to simplify complexities, dismiss the absurd and impart their knowledge in a lively and enjoyable way.
The philosophy of homeopathy is transformed from belief and idea, into the living and breathing world of clinical practice.
The emphasis of the course is understanding treatment as process rather than a single prescription or remedy. By looking at the initial case it is possible to predict the course of treatment that a patient undergoes so that the prescriber will be able to deal with critical situations with confidence and skill.
The course includes details of this system of ‘case mapping’ and emphasizes the importance of remedy relationships.
Also examined is the work of Ellis Barker and Burnett as well as the practical application of clinical prescribing.
Skills/achievements gained: Participants will be able to consolidate and expand their knowledge giving them extra confidence in practice. They will be able to simplify their cases so that they clearly understand what is likely to happen to their patients. They will develop the skills to impart this information clearly to patients so that they are fully informed about the decisions made. Both practitioner and patient will be truly empowered by this understanding.
Dates and times: The course is run every October for 2 days a month (Thursday and Fridays) for five months. The course runs from 10am to 5pm both days.
Fees: The fees for the course are: £769 for full fees. £820 if payment option is £100 deposit and five instalments.

School of Homeopathy
Course title: Homeopathy Postgraduate Course Sensation & System
Course category: Advanced Homeopathic Training
Location: Home study
Award: The Sensation & System Postgraduate Diploma Certificate
Description of course and content:
In this one year post graduate complete course we aim to introduce you to the techniques of case-receiving and case analysis known as the Sensation Method. This is the method introduced and used by Dr Rajan Sankaran and his colleagues in Mumbai, India, and which have become popular around the world in recent years.
Unit 1 : Vital sensation
Unit 2 : Kingdoms
Unit 3 : Minerals
Unit 4 : Miasms revisited
Unit 5 : Plants
Unit 6 : Animals
Unit 7 : Integrated approach
The Sensation Course requires around 800-900 hours of study to complete the work within this period, i.e. around two and a half days a week, or three hours per day. It is up to you, however, to determine how long you are willing or able to commit to this study each week, and hence how long you actually take to complete the course. However, for each year of study you are actually given two years study period. We regard this flexibility of time as very important, so that you can approach your study in the way that best suits your individual circumstances.
Why study the Postgraduate Sensation Course?
Arguably the Sensation Method is the most important development in homeopathy since its discovery by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th century. The Sensation Method sets out to explore classification within the natural world through kingdoms and subkingdoms. In addition to this is the methodology of searching for the ‘vital sensation’ in the patient’s case and the concept of the ‘seven levels of experience’ within the human being. The deep insights of Rajan Sankaran and his colleagues have profoundly affected the way many homeopaths think and practice today.
