About the Programme
Every homeopath deserves to feel confident, supported, and connected — especially in those first vital years of practice.
The Society of Homeopaths’ Supervision & Mentoring Programme brings together newly qualified homeopaths and experienced practitioners in a professional partnership built on trust, reflection, and shared growth.
Following a successful pilot, the programme now runs year-round, offering personalised one-to-one support designed to:
- Build clinical and professional confidence
- Deepen reflective practice and self-awareness
- Strengthen professional standards
- Foster long-term, supportive relationships within our community

For Newly Qualified Homeopaths (Mentees)
Starting out in practice can feel both exciting and overwhelming. Our mentoring and supervision scheme gives you the steady, experienced support you need to grow your confidence and thrive in your early years.
As a mentee, you’ll receive:
- Two one-to-one mentoring sessions completely free of charge, funded by the Society (worth over £100)
- Personalised guidance from an experienced supervisor who understands the challenges of starting out
- Practical support for practice building, case management, and professional confidence
- Encouragement to continue supervision beyond your funded sessions – with a minimum of four sessions per year recommended to help you keep growing and reflecting

For Experienced Practitioners (Supervisors & Mentors)
Your experience has the power to shape the next generation of homeopaths. By becoming a supervisor or mentor, you can offer invaluable insight, encouragement, and perspective — and in doing so, rediscover the joy of reflective practice yourself.
We welcome:

- Qualified supervisors, and
- Experienced members with backgrounds in mentoring, coaching, or professional support who would like to train as supervisors
As part of the programme, you’ll:
- Receive £100 for the two Society-funded sessions per mentee
- Build meaningful, ongoing relationships (minimum of four sessions per year recommended)
- Support new practitioners in navigating their early years of practice with confidence and professionalism
- Contribute to the culture of connection and care that defines our professionÂ
The mentee moved from uncertainty and lack of direction to a more balanced and positive outlook. She has put into place both practical and personal supports for her practice and wellbeing.
