Hello, I’m Leah Cousins, LCPH, founder of Anahata Homeopathy.
My interest in natural health and homeopathy began more than 40 years ago, when I started searching for gentle, natural ways to support the health and wellbeing of myself, my family and friends. That personal journey grew into a lifelong passion, eventually leading me to train as a professional homeopath.
I believe that symptoms are the body’s way of communicating that something deeper needs our attention. My role is to listen carefully, understand your unique health journey and look beyond the symptoms to explore the factors that may be influencing your wellbeing.
I combine classical homeopathic principles with a practical, holistic approach, taking into account physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and life experiences. As a qualified homeopath and yoga teacher, I value the connection between mind and body and the importance of treating each person as a whole.
I have a special interest in supporting people with chronic and complex health concerns, particularly where stress, trauma, hormonal health concerns, digestive health, addiction recovery or long-standing illness are part of the picture. My consultations are relaxed, compassionate and unhurried, giving you the time and space to feel truly heard and understood.
Whether you are seeking support for a long-term health condition or looking to improve your overall wellbeing, my aim is to work alongside you with compassion and respect, creating an individualised treatment plan that supports your body’s natural ability to restore balance and move towards better health.

I have a particular interest in supporting people with chronic, complex and long-standing health concerns. My practice focuses on providing individualised homeopathic care, with professional interests including hormonal health, chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction recovery, digestive disorders, recurrent infections, skin conditions and fatigue. I work with adults seeking a holistic approach to supporting resilience, wellbeing and long-term health.
My practice is based on looking beyond the presenting symptoms to understand the factors that may have contributed to illness. By taking time to explore each person’s history and health journey, I aim to create an individualised treatment plan that supports lasting improvements in health and wellbeing.
